REFERENCES I check references before sending model horses or accepting funds. I only work with hobbyists who have a positive transaction history. I do post transaction experiences, both positive and otherwise, on the Model Horse Transaction Board. Please arrange your finances before buying a model or custom slot from me. Please also be aware that shipping can be as high as $20+ within the USA. I'm pretty easy to work with, and I love my hobby and fellow hobbyists! That said, there are some bad apples out there, so due to some prior experiences and that of others posted on TMHTB, I unfortunately have to address these types of individuals: I WILL report tire-kickers, people who fail to meet time-payment commitments, people who are *really*, unnecessarily difficult to work with, people who pull back funds after a horse has been shipped, and scammers (of course). On my end: I provide several photos of the model, including in-progress shots of custom orders. I also provide photos of the way I am packing your horse for your approval prior to shipping. I'm honest and detailed in my descriptions, I communicate well and frequently, and I pack well & ship the same week, if not within days, of receiving payment for a model. I have green lights on the Model Horse Transaction Board (MHTB).
TIME PAYMENTS If I accept time payments for a horse, I do not refund monies sent for the model if the buyer changes their mind. Again, please plan your finances accordingly, to be sure you can complete your payments in the time agreed-to.
PLACING A HOLD Due to tire-kickers, I no longer place holds on models. First-come, first serve; the individual who says "I want to buy this horse, please give me your PP details" is the one who will get that horse! So please be sure to word your email or IM with intent! :) :)
SHIPPING, RETURNS, AND LIABILITY I am a good, fast communicator and I package carefully. I *will* provide you with a tracking number the day I ship. I am *not* responsible for model horses lost/stolen/damaged while in transit to you, as this is due to carrier handling of your horse. Insurance is usually provided and that would be an appropriate recourse if something should happen to your package while in transit to you. I *will* do what I can to help you should something happen, by contacting USPS, UPS, Fed Ex, etc I am not shipping overseas at this time, unless I have worked with you previously, you are a very well-known buyer with lots of positive feedback, and you agree fully to this policy, and of course have greens on MHTB. If, for some reason, I am giving you a refund on a model horse (due to my error, such as a flaw I somehow missed, primer/paint/sealer reaction issues, etc), I will refund you, and pay the shipping cost for the return to me. The model must be returned within 3 business days and arrive in the condition I sent it in. I recommend taking photos and sending them to me as you are boxing it back up, to prevent any confusion about the model's condition prior to it being shipped back. Again, I send a lot of photos before accepting payment, and I provide you with photos of how I am packing your model, of shipping quotes directly from the carrier, and I give detailed descriptions about flaws/damage. It is unlikely that this will happen, but unfortunately it can and does... **Also; I may charge a *small* amount to cover packing supplies. I try to reuse for the environment's sake & to keep down costs, but if I can't reuse, I will charge an amount just to cover the supplies used to pack your horse.
RESIN EDITIONS AND SHIPPING As of now I have not released a resin edition, but one *is* in the works. There will be some separate policies regarding shipping of my own editions. I will include packaging, and possibly shipping, fees into the price of that model.
