This is Breyer's Premier Club Adonis, originally sculpted by Heather Puleo. He was pretty amazing as he was, but being a to-the-bone customizer... the moment I saw this guy I knew what I was going to do with him! I love the "exploding mane/tail" reference photos I've seen, and so that was a part of my vision for this guy. He's had his hind legs moved and his left hind completely resculpted from the hock down! (This was required to remove a large metal post, thus destroying the original leg). He has a new set of ears, new muzzle, mane/tail/forelock (with room for a stallion bridle built-in), detailed stallion plumbing and wrinkles. He also has a new, clear acrylic post/base set modified just for him! He will have a new set of hooves so that all his feet match...right now his hooves are oversized and very much in the rough stages! 

I kept trying to think of a proper, respectable Lipizzan name for him, but he has this "Marvel Comics" quality to his mane and tail, and his position....so his studio name is now "Superman" ;)

Superman will eventually be offered for sale, but I may show this guy first...we'll see...
