Finneas, named after my friend Barrie Getz's adorable Mini Horse stallion (please don't tell him I called him "adorable"!), is a seahorse's kinda Sea-HORSE. Yes, I am cheesy. No, I have no shame :)
Finneas's master resin has been cast and is ready for molding! His sculpture and base a bit tricky to cast, however, so I am working on all of the above, but it will take time to complete. Therefore, I am not able to offer an availability date on him at this time. He has some adorable (there's that word again) pony-like hair texture on his cute widdle face (I am getting into SO much hot water here with a certain proud stallion!), fuzzy curvy ears, and lots of wrinkly, banded, fishy detail on his fabulous "dad-bod". Most of us know by now that it's the male seahorse that gives birth to the weeeee little baby sea horses (see what I did there?). So you'll be pleased to know Finn here is going to be a proud dad any day now, with a proper paunch to show for it! Oh, but wait, there's more! Finn is cool enough as he is, but wait til you see his BASE! Finn is being created so that he is peg-free, and will be held by a complex, very cool sea-weed base!
As Finn is quite complex (mainly due to that base!) to cast, and includes his multi-piece, unattached base, he will be offered as a 1-2 mold run (depending on how the molds hold up!)
