Dutch Baby
"All-the-Pretty-Girls-Walk-Like-THIS...!"
Dutch Baby is my new Dutch Harness Horse mare bust, strutting onto the scene with all the sass and presence that these beautiful horses are known for. No detail has been spared on Dutchie; she has fine wrinkles on her neck, soft rounded muzzle wrinkles, facial veining, and sculpted braiding detail on her mane bobs.
Also, Dutchie is HUGE! She is 7.5 inches tall, and 4.5 inches wide, bigger than my hand, and
"over-trad" if she was attached to a body. This leaves lots of room for detailing :)
But WAIT, there's MORE! I have planned for two versions of this girl, one with the braided mane (as required for KWPN in-hand showing) and one with a flowing mane and a playful bottom lip with grooved, detailed bottom teefs! I am having a blast imagining her "clothed" in all the talent that our hobby artists are famous for! There's certainly enough "canvas" and detail for our talented artists in the hobby to really add "wow-factor" to!

PRICE: $125.00 PPD to the Lower 48 States (Overseas: Please contact me; I am working on overseas shipping issues to Germany and other nations with green-movement shipping restrictions)

FIRST SHIPPING DATE: APRIL 1st. 2025
RUN: 1-Mold run per version, with 2 versions planned (one long-maned, one braided version). A small number of copies will be reserved by me for painting and resale and for my personal collection.
SHIPPING COST:
*Models will be shipped Postage Paid in the USA to the lower 48 States.
MATERIALS/CASTING:
Dutch Baby will be cast in-house using the highest quality materials available and will have flashing removed and any bubbles or imperfections I find cleared upon inspection. The resin pieces will still require prepping (light seam removal and light sanding, and it is possible small defects may escape my inspection, though I'm careful) and priming by the purchaser prior to painting.
SALES POLICIES:
*I will be selling Dutch Baby Version 1 first, with Version 2 to be announced when her mold is completed and I have copies to offer.
*I do not hold models, due to the unfortunate high incidence of tire-kickers
*I will be selling Version 1 in batches of 10-15 copies. If you miss out on a batch, please email me at
[email protected] to add your contact info to my list of interested parties and I'll contact you to let you know the next batch is available.
*I reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone if I see negative feedback on The Model Horse Transaction Board, The Scams and Red Flags Board, etc.
*Interest list sales are first-come, first-serve; specifically, the first person on the list for the next batch who emails me with "I would like to purchase a Dutch Baby" and who pays for their Dutch Baby will get one.
Time payments are available through Square - the link below to purchase offers Apple Pay and Google pay, which can be linked to your CC. These are my preferred payment options, but if you need to use PayPal Goods & Services, I can do this as a separate transaction - please contact me if this is the case.
SHIPPING:

As models will be made available in batches, I will package them in groups and ship them out together. This means that I plan on shipping once a week, on a day as yet to be determined/announced (when I have orders in place). Either way, this means your model will be on its way to you within a week of payment.
All other USA shipping locations (Alaska, Hawaii) and international customers, please contact me (I'm not experienced with the new restrictions to, say, Germany, and so it would be a learning curve, if it is possible/feasible for me to ship there, but I will try to work with you! Of course I would charge a shipping fee accordingly, to cover costs). I will note actual value in customs claims, and will not be able to mark "GIFT".
*I will be shipping via USPS (I reserve the right to use other shipping vendors as a response to cost fluctuations as needed to better serve those who purchase my work).
REFUNDS:
I will refund horses returned within 24 hours of receipt, in the condition as sent to purchaser. Shipping in this case will be at purchaser's expense with the exception of a serious defect, such as resin that is not curing properly (unlikely, but it can and does happen). I will not refund for loss or damage while in transit as this is beyond my control. Please ensure I have your correct shipping address, and if using PayPal, that this address is also entered there.

I don't anticipate any problems with orders, but things happen! IF you experience a problem with your order, please do give me the benefit of the doubt and contact me directly, so that I may work with you and, within reason, we work out any problems and both walk away happy with the transaction.
